Yow! Mol, great toy! That's going to be a fun project.
As the wife of a 'car guy' I know all about these toys! DH has a 74 Camaro that he's trying to get the motor rebuilt on. He's had it longer than we've been together. I drove it for a while, very fast, lots of attitude. I'll post a pic of it when I can find it. We can play "how many shades of primer can YOU find" ;)
The toy he drives now is an '85 Toyota 4X4. I love that little truck, so much fun to drive.
My toy is a Macintosh G4, not too interesting to post a pic of, but my automotive toy, which is awaiting a tranny rebuild is an '89 Toyota extended cab 4X4, and I do have a pic of it. I apologize for the crudeness of the background that I put it on, I wanted to do something 'quick and dirty' to get rid of the existing background which detracted from the truck. I'll post a better and more retouched version when I finish it.

MOL:
ahhhhhhh.....that brings back memories!!!!
The whole gang that I hung out with up until I got married..... all drove trans-am, firebirds or cameros. All 10 of them. In varying years. To see us all go out together with our S.O. was a sight indeed.
The guy I was dating at the time had a 73 camaro. I loved that car. I learned to drive in that car.
The first car I bought myself was a 77 camaro.
I still have a real love for 68 firebirds.........
*sigh*
All the stuff that dwindles away when our priorities change for our children....... They are not the greatest cars to get carseats in and out of:):):)
But, one day...... I will have another.....
Congrats on an excellent project to keep ya busy.....

I think the g4 is a great toy! I wanted to get one of the cubes but I was too late...they quit selling them! Whats up with that? They looked awesome!

Oh, it's a fabulous toy alright, but when you've seen one...
I think the G4 cube was one of those novelty items that Apple came out with that just didn't make it. For the price they were asking for them, they're really limited in expandability. I ask so much of my machine at work that I'd probably break a cube! I saw one at Seybold* last year, interesting and definitely quieter, but nothing I'd give up my monster for. :D
If you really want one, I do see them posted for sale on certain computer retail sites. You may even get a decent closeout price. outpost.com has them for $1600.
Keely
* Seybold is an annual convention/seminar that caters to the desktop publishing industry. Used to be mainly for print publication, but has web and multimedia now. Lots of toys to look at from various vendors. :)

Hey! Don't blame me... if you were a little more patient, you could have held out for a whole one.
Trying to be modest? Only showing a pic of one guitar... knowing there are about 30 in the closet? Like we don't know...
Sheesh!

Hush!!! Don't give him any ideas. He's already eyeballing a Camero at the place where he got the firebird.
And Eagle.... we don't have any closet space left if ya know what I mean!!

LOL! I know what you mean! I have to sometimes rein in DH's desire to acquire various toys. Every time I hear him making those gorilla noises over another project car, I have to gently remind him that 1. we have NO more room for another project car, and 2. he still has the Camaro to work on. Yeesh!
I'm just as bad in my own way. Computer equipment, beads, yarn, I'm terrible!
