I get along with plants rather well, and I can hear them in the wordless tongue, when they have something to tell me. Often a tree will direct my attention to something it wants me to see or know about.

I've been pruning the trees on my property of dead limbs & twigs. They've been very involved in the process, letting me know what to cut off. As a result, the trees are sprouting out new heathy growth, and even flowering. The other day, after I finished some major work on the Holly Tree, it spoke to me in my mind using English. The Holly Tree said, "Friend".

I understand that Druids have much knowledge of trees, and I believe that the Holly Tree is especially important to Druids. Can you please tell me about the lore concerning the Holly Tree?

Holly (or Tinne in Gaelic) is the eigth month of the Celtic year.

One of its meanings in Celtic Lore is "Energy and gudance for things to come".

Glad you made a friend.

I guess my friend also has a sense of humor, because awhile ago, the Holly Tree offered to scratch my back....
