Last night I did a reading for some of the folks who come into the tattoo shop I frequent and had a very strong experience.
One of the people I read for had a presence with him that some of the others with me felt. When I did the reading it was not so much for the person I was reading for it was for the "presence". It was very much like doing a reading for two people at once and was very difficult. After the reading I felt physically drained and was told by Sherry and the others with me that I also looked drained and pale. It took quite a bit of energy out of me. I did a quick cleansing of the cards, but did not read anyone after that. The cards were way to full of what had just occurred. I let the cards sit overnight and this morning I smudged my cards with some white sage. I retired that deck for a while and am now using one of my other decks.
This is the kind of thing you should consider when you are reading. If you come across such a thing try and politely back out of the reading or geenralize it as much as you can. This, of course, is just my opinion. But it is important to know that some people have another traveling with them.
