Hey, all. I'm at my mother's, so I'm not back online yet.
I lost my grandfather-in-law on July 31st at about 9pm EST. He died in the hospital ... we don't know of what, though.
He was 80 years old; he'd just turned 80 this past March. Yep, born in 1923. I only wish my kids could have known him. And, please, don't tell me about reincarnation right now. I know all about it, but the grief is still fresh. Thanks. :(
His wife (hubby's gramma) is doing okay. She's surprisingly strong about this. We're almost done moving in, but we have a bit. The funeral was today (Aug 4). I'll miss him, though the idea of him being gone still hasn't really settled in my mind.
I'd better leave here. Gotta get to the house to move more stuff.
Again, thanks for not mentioning that I'll see him in another life or whatever. I just can't handle reading that right now.
