View Full Version : I want to find other Wiccans in my area.

I am looking for other Wiccans to observe rituals and Sabbat events but I can't find any. The only I have found by looking online are in another city. Can anyone tell me in the midst of the bible belt how to find other pagans. I know pagans don't want to mission like Christians but shouldn't we at least provide resources for those who want it. I'm not talking books, but societies or such. The ones I've seen are no where near Alabama. If anyone has any ideas or know of any people who could help please let me know. Thanks. I feel I need this to learn more.

I live in a small town in the mountains of Colorado. I also have not been able to find anyone to talk face to face with. It is discouraging. Don't let this steer you differently. Try shops or other istes. Anything to find someone if that is what you feel you need.

I swear it feels like I am the only Pagan here in this craphole town. I've tried WitchVox and they listed a few, but the listings were old and no one responded. Ugh.

Maybe we could create a forum for matching people together. You know....you could post and give your location and then folks could search the forum for location and bingo!

LittlePerson, I was gonna PM you but you don't have a PM link...

I live 30 miles north of Pascagoula, MS, just off Hwy 63; and about 30 miles outside of Mobile, ALA...

Both Ala and Miss are big states, so are we anywhere near being close to each other?

I've had some success with a post on Witchvox. Others have been successful through starting yahoo groups.

Great Idea :) I have been very lonely here at my new place I dont bother with anyone here they all seem to be having alot of problems with their husbands and I have been there and done that. I cant get into the complex soap opera :) SO please but me down for that new meeting place :) Mystic Rayne

great idea mol, actually i just suggested something like that in the site room. :) i've had trouble getting responses here in my town too from listings on witchvox.
