Lets start this thread anew.
Last quote was by Litha:
Mairwen, I don't seem to hear any message from my totem spiders, only know that therr presence usually happens when I'm happy and in flow.
Now with the dream spiders, these guys were big, so I looked into information on plarge spiders and came up with tarantula's.
Tarantula's Wisdom Includes:
* Ability to shed the outer skin (masks) and transform
* Creativity
* Spinning a web to entrap enemies
* Defense of territory
* Intimidation by size
* Use of environment to conceal oneself
In the book Animal-Wise by Ted Andrews, the medicine meaning is a bit different. The Tarantula are very sensitive to vibrations and movement. They can live 10-20 years, and denote a long period of time. They are sensitive to the subtle activities in their environment, and they teach us how to be more aware. With Tarantulas, you should trust what you feel, and not what you see. They are a very psychic influenced spider, and we can learn much from it.
Commence discussion on the First Lesson. Note that we have opened Lesson II.
