I was just wondering if neone has ne experience in using gemstones in their body piercings. i've got various holes here n there & a while back i read a segment somewhere about using gemstones in the piercings; to gain the benefits of that stone, as part of a spell, wateva. it's something i'd like to pursue in case it ever seems like a good idea - and if not that, i've got plenty of pierced friends n it'd be n interesting n unusual gift to give - but i don't think i've ever seen body jewellry with real stones in them; at least, not where i live.

so, yea, has neone a) tried this for a reason, or b) got gemstone piercings and know where i can get some?

the only thing i can think of is in the ball u get in split rings, to buy gemstone beads in the right size and substitute them for a plain silver one etc; obviously earrings r sorted, u can get lots of things for ur ears...but wat about the balls on the end of eyebrow/lip piercings etc?

I had an Emerald in my Naval piercing but I no longer have the piercing. I actually never thought about it though, but I'm pretty sure it would work just the same. Also some fine jewelry stores have body jewelry with gemstones in them, mostly diamonds though.

I've seen plenty of earrings with real gemstones in, but not much for other piercings. You find a lot of the coloured-glass-cut-to-look-like-gemstones stuff, though. Then again, I havn't exactly been looking.
