I've been investigating totems....I have totem cards, which are wonderful for looking at certain issues. Suddenly though, a whole bunch of animals are popping their heads up and I really don't know what they are trying to tell me. I was hoping I could get an email or a reply with an explanation, if possible.
The first are whooping cranes. They have made a home across the road where I work, and I see them daily. This is in a field, miles from the ocean, so not really a place you would expect them, yet there they are, the pair of them. I know these animals aren't all that fond of humans, and yet they make a point of flying very close to me quite often.
The other one, again a bird, is a chickadee. This bird flew into my house one morning. My cat caught her, and then let her go. She flew outside, and then flew in AGAIN, as if really wanting to tell me something. Again my cat caught her, and again she let her go. She flew into my pantry, and then, I swear to the god of your choice, she disappeared. Both myself AND the cat spent an hour looking for her, and all I found was a small bit of scat proving she was ever there. I can see her escaping my notice when she made good her escape, but not my cat.
Any information would be valued. These birds are definitely trying to tell me something, and I definitely want to listen.
