Hey all! We are going to watch a movie tonight and I need some input.

The choices of movies currently playing that I am wanting to see are :

The Mummy Returns
Pearl Harbor
A Knights Tale
Evolution

Has anyone seen any of these, or all of them? I want some suggestions of which movie to watch as I can only pick one...

My friend saw Evolution over the weekend and said it was okay. I've heard the same about Pearl Harbor. Ditch 'em all and go see Shrek!!!!!! GREAT MOVIE

LOL! Thanks...

Shrek is one for video. I go to the theatre for the experience of it all, and I must say few, if any, animated films I have ever seen were better in the theatre...

...but that's just me ;).

A Knight's Tale! A Knight's Tale!!! Drool city! Heath Ledger! *ahem* so sorry...forgot I was talking to a guy....no but seriously, a friend of mine went to see it with his fiancee and said it was really good, and he's the "movies for guys who love movies" kind of chap.

Hope you enjoy yourself, whichever you choose!!

A Knight's Tale was pretty good. If you're really having trouble deciding, go for getting your money's worth and pick the longest one. :D Shrek does rock, I have to agree.

Mummy Returns was better than your average sequel. I'd give it 3 stars.

Well, my wife loves Brenden Fraser, so she want to see The Mummy...

But she wants to see A Knights Tale too... I want to see Pearl Harbor and Evolution.

I don't know, maybe I will chuck it all and watch Swordfish, LoL!

Seriously, my hubby and I saw it two weeks ago and we both liked it.

Have fun!

I naturally agree with Raevyn and Chryssi!!! KNIGHTS TALE!!! I've seen it twice and can't wait to buy it when it comes to video!!! I am simply in love with that movie (and heath Ledger of course...shhhh don't tell my husband, but I have dreams about Heath!!!:D) :)

We saw Evolution the other day and it was good, but not as funny as what the previews made it out to be....as long as you don't go in expecting this slapstick comedy about people falling down and stuff like that, you'll like it!! (my mother in law didn't like it because she said it was too much like Ghostbusters...she even asked if it was plagerism to steal your own work!!!) :) (the same guy did both movies for those who don't know!!)

my mother in law simply loved the Mummy returns!! She couldn't say enough good things about it....(although she is single and I think she has dreams about Brendan Frasure!!!) :)

Frankly I loved the Mummy...it was so much fun, and I thought it was far better than the first Mummy.
A Knight's Tale is so far from Historically acurate it can distract one from the actual movie...well, it's not my style anyone.
Evolution sounds funny, but Pearl Harbor sounds heavy....
I'd go with the Mummy, it was awsome!

Merry Meet!

Well, my husband and I went to see "A Knight's Tale" and ended up walking out during the middle of the movie. Other, than having an attractive male lead character, the movie is not worth the money, wait to see it on video. I am very much into the medieval and renaissance era and feel that this movie was very corny.

Well all, thank you for the responses!

We saw the Mummy Returns, and must admit I was quite surprised... I liked it more than the first one. The story line was a little on the cheesy side, but the special effects were good, the action sequences were right on (except maybe for the final battle with the SK), and the story did take on a life of its own.

The main characters were a little full of themselves though...

All in all, I give it a thumbs up. I think we are going to do the Tomb Raider thing this weekend (Angelina Jolie, Yay!), and renting Cast Away tonight.

:p

Me? Cuter? Definately not. You are far superior to that of me. :D

Cast Away was great!....Till the end. I thought the writer may have died half way through and they just tried to end it without him...ah well...it's entertaining. Tomb Raider looks great (yay Angelie Jolie)!
