past life cards:

oh boy.
you lost a child in this past life. it feels like this life was probably in the mid to late 1800's.
your child was out playing, doing what kids do. and where you lived - somewhere like France, Belgium, - it wasn't a horribly dangerous area right where you were. maybe in other towns, but your village was pretty decent. so it wasn't a problem for kids to go outside and play on their own all day. and your child - a son - was in his early teens. perhaps around 12. but he never came home. you went off to look for him, and just kept looking.
it has a mysterious feel about it. i believe he was kidnapped and killed. but you kept looking. the townspeople helped you some, but after a while they gave up. but you kept looking. really you spent the rest of your life looking to find him, though you never did.
but you were brave and tireless. i think when you lost him you were a single mom, the father of your son either died, or ran off on you. but during this trial in your life, you actually met a man who thought you to be courageous and brilliant, and he was very supportive of everything you did. he took you wherever you needed to go, and he took care of you financially. it seems you eventually became pregnant again, but it was a hard pregnancy, you may have lost the baby. you died of fever, scarlet fever or something like that. and you were hallucinating about your son when you died, seeing him at the age he would have been when you died. it wasn't a painful death really, and it gave you some closure before you crossed over.

do you see spirits or ghosts? this card ... it seems to be saying you have a different ability to see than some. i had to turn it upside down to get this perspective...and it feels more right this way. not that you see life upside down, but almost as though your life is vastly different than what others are experiencing. so seeing spirits, or different realities, or something right in front of you that others just can't see. somehow this past life made you open to this ability. maybe because you looked so hard then, now you still have the sight.
it feels like this card is saying that you fear getting too emotionally attached to any one thing or person. the reality - in your mind - is that they will die eventually, and you will suffer loss. and it's not that you fear death, but it's lonliness and harsh ... well it's just dirty and dark seeming. it's almost like i'm sensing that you can smell or see death, and it's a very difficult gift. is this making sense at all?
well your challenge for this life is big: keep living and loving even though you know it will have to end eventually. there is so much beauty, and so much pain. and the temperance card before is about balancing and accepting these two realities. you must enjoy them both. enjoy the beauty for what it is, and the pain, because it means you are still alive.
you have carried over the strength from that life: the perseverence, the fearlessness, the visionary qualities. but i think you are afraid to be like this sometimes. you have this inner strength, but it hurts to get out in the world sometimes. this might be psychic energies battling against you, or spirits you encounter, or i'm not sure. but you HAVE the strength...it's just a matter of finding what your niche is, how you can unleash it, use it, etc.
