We gather here, underneath the moonlit sky,
joined in hand and heart,
tears flow freely,
as we mourn those we've lost.
We may never know their names,
but we know their sufferage,
we may never know them personally,
but we know they were taken too early.
To those who passed,
to those we've lost,
we guide your soul to the Brighter Side,
you will be kept in our hearts.
The heat came without warning,
too much too soon,
overwhelming you,
overwhelming us with your loss.
Though we have never met,
we cry for you,
we care for you,
we will remember you.
