We are having trouble on deciding which Celtic god/goddess to evoke for a prosperity/wealth spell.....
Would like to hear some of your thoughts...=o)
Thanks,

Which deites have you come up with thus far? When I think of Celtic goddesses associated with wealth, I think of Rosmerta. Usually her symbol is the cornucopia.

We have been reading more on the celtic gods/goddesses from the book Celtic Myth&Magick by Edain McCoy....and from her book we have narrowed it down to : Deae Matres....but everywhere I read they are more for fertility and crops.....
Then there is Easal ...Which says in Magick and ritual -prosperity
Then MacGreine says particularly prosperity....
and then Mark,King which also says in magick and ritual -prosperity.....
Please write back with your thoughts....
Also I looked up Rosmerta and it says in magick and ritual-Cultivate Rosmerta to aid in healing and communication.....

Yeah, I have McCoy's book also. In the back of the book, she has long lists of deities and their associations. She lists a lot of deities whom I have never heard of or are very loosely connected with the specific association. I'm not a Celtic specialist, but I have done some research on the deities that she lists.
Here's a really brief paragraph on Rosmerta. http://www.pantheon.org/articles/r/rosmerta.html

Be VERY WARY of McCoy's information--a lot of it is misinterpreted by her, made up, or just plain wrong!
