Alrighty group!

I think to help Revelation (and Mol if he ever shows up to post anything on the subject, LOL!), maybe for those that have read or studied something on the Kabbalah previously should list some of the books/sources. I think it'll give Revelation a feel for what we know and where the ideas came from.

I do realize this is new for some of you so I'm not expecting everyone to have something to add to the list.

Here's some of what I have read:

A Woman's Kabbalah Vivianne Crowley
The Witches Qabala Ellen Cannon Reed

and part of the SY though I don't know what translation/interpretation.

As you can see its pretty limited, and some of the materials NOT listed were borrowed and my memory being what it is can't recall who were the lendees and what I borrowed from them ... 8O hee hee.

Hey, Revelation, if any of my "helpfulness" gets annoying let me know...I get carried away sometimes. :p

Greetings all,

For myself, my readings on the qabalah (some I am still reading) have included:

The Witches Qabala
The Mystical Qabalah <- Dion Fortune's aforementioned book
The Qabalistic Tarot
The Essential Kabbalah

I've found that using the Tarot and the Qabalah together have definitely given me foundation to stand on with the tree, but I'm yet to get a handle on the Hebrew. I'm very much looking foward to learning from you all, as well as thanking you for the wealth of resources.

I am currently reading, at Bananabrain's suggestion, Gershom Scholem's Major Trends in Jewish Mysticism.

It's quite good.

Not a published book, but I have found some very interesting information in the Riders of the Crystal Winds BOS. Just thought you may be interested...
