Actually, been lurking here off and on for some two years. Been posting at another message board for a while, under a different handle, but got tired of having my nose tweaked out of joint, so I stopped posting there...the evil twin half still enjoyed seeing others get tweaked too, though. One can just feel the love that flows through these communities sometimes, I'll tell ya!

Anyway, sigh...most of my friends list on LJ seem to be here in some form or another, and I've noticed that this seems to be a rather comfortable place, so I thought I'd make myself known, though I generally lurk in the corners, watching.

About me: I'm slowly edging up on 30, with a little over a year before I get there. I've been Pagan, in some form or another since I was 15. I just did the math on that. I feel REALLY old now. I think I've been everything from frou-frou fluffy bunny (my definition, not the standard) Wiccan, to Elemental Mage, to just plain Eclectic, and every step in between. Currently, I am most easily defined as a Witch, in that I practice magic, trodding a Shamanic/Naturalistic path, because no matter how much else I search, my heart pulls me back to the studies with a few Old Ones when I was younger. We barely scratched surface, but I think that's home. Unfortunately :), my beloved one has rubbed off, too...he is Druid, one of the old stuffed shirt types that Twig refers to somewhere in his forum, as opposed to the Neo-Druid. From what he can tell me, (we must hush because they all hunt wabbits, you know), and what I have learned from him, there are a lot of similarities between Druidry and a large number of the indiginous religions.

In other news, I am mommy to 4.5 children (the .5 due 12/26) and one 29 year old, I live in a zoo, (which is growing), and hm...since this is long enough, I guess the rest, you'll figure out.

Capital Area, pretty closely, but not in the city exactly...and if I recall, we had this discussion on Mother's Magic a while back :), roundabout the time of that earthquake!!

Welcome, I hope you find this home more welcoming and happy than your last one. Congrats on your .5! Do you know if its a boy or girl? I have three boys myself...this factory is shut down now.. no more babies for me! Hmmm.. always did want a little girl, though!

Can't wait to see ya around in the posts, seems like you have a great deal of knowledge to share!

Bright Blessings!
