I couldn't confirm this story but its still funny.
An over-protective father in Germany has allegedly warned off his stepdaughter's new boyfriend with an electro-shocker.
The 37-year-old arranged to meet his stepdaughter's 27-year-old boyfriend at a bridge in Solingen, North Rhine-Westphalia.
But instead of welcoming him to the family, the man allegedly prodded him with the device to show him exactly what he thought of his relationship with his 21-year-old stepdaughter.
The young man, who received slight burns from the electric shock, immediately called police who confiscated the device.
He has now pressed charges against the father for bodily harm.

Should we at some point have daughters old enough to date, my husband plans to be polishing his humongous barbarian sword when young men pick them up. :D By then we should even have all our sharp pointy things on display on one wall.
The funny thing is, my hubby is big and somewhat dangerous looking. I look like a librarian or someone's favorite auntie. However, I am the one they should fear! Muwahahahahaha!

My brother is opting for the shotgun idea. Heck, he already has a reputation for being a nut...I can imagine when my niece is old enough to date..."You're WHO'S daughter?!!! run away! run away!!!" :rotfl:

Yeah, I was going to be sharpening a giant battle axe, not saying a word, no expression on my face. Just looking straight at the boy and running that stone along the axe's edge.

I have a few years before I really have to worry about any of it.

I always swore that if I had daughters, I'd take their "naked on a bearskin rug" or some such other cute nudie baby picture. Then, when the boyfriends come home, I'd pass along the pictures for him to see. Then I'd tell him "Now you've seen her naked. If you EVER do again, I'll be sure to make you regret it." LOL
Seriously... I wouldn't actually do it, but it sounds fine in theory!

Im sure that the future boyfriends my daughter will have are going to be wary of both dad and older brothers. I know I used to get embarassed when my parents dressed alike and knowing howw onry my husband can be I almost feel sorry for them already. And if all else fails we could always bring in Grandpa

Yeah I have a feeling Mol will be second in line to check out the girls dates anyway with Trey around. He watches us like a hawk when it comes to her. If I tease her about being a bad girl when she wont eat or something he gets all mad at me. He will be a force to be reckoned with I am afraid!

Semele, that's too cute! I think it's an older sibling thing, I check out my 16-year-old sister's boyfriends, try and get all the dirt. The guy she's with now is squeaky clean and brought her flowers on Valentine's Day. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Just need to find one like that for myself!

no my darlin' bro, i mean the one here in NY. ;)
I figure you'd just duct tape them to a tree or something.
Both my brothers are pains when it came to me dating. "who is he? we don't like him" and they would make sure the guy knew he wasn't liked. Eshallet has no idea how lucky he is....they LIKE him.
my son is already uptight about his half-sister...she just turned 1 yesterday. he and his brother are already "okay, she can't hang out with boys" LOL J-man is 10 years older than his sister, she's going to be in HUGE trouble when she's a teen.

I tried to get around that whole thing by dating my brothers friends, which turned out to not be the best idea either!
