Moldavite?

Does anyone know anything about Moldavite? I went to a metaphysical shop and the owner (who knows I'm very sensitive to energies around me) asked me to hold a moldavite stone because I was getting quite a "buzz" standing in front of the display counter several stones were displayed in. The moment she put the stone in my hand, I nearly dropped it on the counter because it immediately made me feel like I was going to "soar". There was a lot of pressure in my head (very much like the pressure I feel before I have a "vision"..only far stronger). It took a couple of days before the effects of briefly holding the stone wore off. So does anyone know anything about this?

Moldavite comes from Czechoslovakia. It is made from a meteor impact forming fused Silica. The meteor impact forced molten meteorite/earth up into the atmosphere were it quickly cooled and returned to the earth. The beautiful textured pattern is natural. Moldavites typically have an olive green color. Moldavite gem stone are about 14.7 million years old.

Thanks for the info. It does make sense. As I'm known to be rather "psychic" and have visions (actually, I've been getting them a lot more frequently since I held that stone about 2 weeks ago). I also seem to have become a bit more clairaudient and clairsentient than I was before.

Moldavite is one of my favorites among my mineral friends....

Soaring is defenitely one of many possible results of connecting with Moldavite.

Telepathy.....yes one might say that, it is a natural expander of your conciousness.

It is such a lovely friend to have around, and also look great in jewelry. At first feel it might seem to soft to stand the kind of wear a jewelry gemstone would be exsposed to, but that does not seem to be the case. i hade a bautiful faceted moldavite incorporated in the gold pendant i had made as a morning gift for my x wife. She has used it almost every day for 6 years now and it doesn't have a scratch.
