Ok, for those interested in the proposed gathering in Oklahoma City: it has been suggested by Methane Spirit, I believe, that the week ending in July 28th would be auspicious for us to meet in OKC. The best deal I could find on motel rooms near Frontier City is at the Quality Inn-North, 12001N. I-35 Svc Rd, OKC, OK 73131 (NE 122 St exit, exit 137) (405) 478-0400. Based on double occupancy, rooms start at $55/night (as opposed others in the area that start at $80). Frontier City is about 1/2 mi down the service road. I will get admission info on Frontier City later. I couldn't find an 800 number, but I've always had the best luck calling the local motel direct, when possible.

How many can commit to that weekend?

I am sure I could still get that week end off...are we talking the whole weekend or just one day??? I only ask because it may be easier for me to get just one day off as I only work week-ends. We live close emough we could drive there and back in one day and still spend some good quality time with you all. Just let me know what works for everyone else. Sounds like a lot of fun to me!!!

Howsabout we make the "official" day be Saturday, July 28th. If anyway wants to come early or stay longer, that can be their choice. OK?

We should settle on the date as soon as possible, so those who may be coming from a distance, out of state, etc, can make reservations in a timely manner.

Gets ya 2 days at F.C., or also into White Water (don't know if it's gotta be next day, tho). Downside is White water is halfway across town.

There is usually some kinda promotion with some kinda drink can (Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Bud Light, etc). I'll check on that, too.
