As you can see from my name - I'm a mama! ;) My dh and I are devoted attachment parents, and I'm the director of Northwest Attachment Parenting. http://www.nw-ap.org

My sweet daughter is a precocious 3.5 yr old that talks a blue streak and is very into dancing right now. So much so it's kind of annoying! lol She starts some Creative Movement classes next week so hopefully that will help channel some energy.

I also am dedicated to Compassionate Communication, which has been a tremendous tool in my parenting and in my life! It's an amazing consciousness that strips away judgment and blame, and fills that void with empathy, love, understanding and compassion. I have great hope for the world when I think about all the people internationally who are inspired by this work. http://www.cnvc.org

I'm a passionate AP mama too, I have two girls aged 1 and 2 next months. We have a huge futon so we all sleep together in our family bed dog and two huge cats included :) I wore them both continuously during infancy and now whenever we are out or if they want too around the house, I believe in gentle disapline and child led weaning and think practices like CC and CIO are really heartbreaking.
