Checked the guestbook of one of my websites today, and this is what I found:

Your Name: Laurie B.
Title of your Web Site: slacker. with a capital s.
Your note to the Broom Closet: Your diary gives me a deeper appreciation of the Salem witch hunt. Too bad they don't drown and burn you guys anymore. (sigh) Those were the days...

What do you think? Want to visit her site: http://deafmute.diaryland.com/ I'm sure she'd love to hear from you. ;)

That's too bad Wyrdsister, you should just delete it.
It's a pity some people can't act their age, instead of their shoe size *grin* And it's a pity some people are so close-minded that comments like that come out of their mouthes.

LOL And I just checked out that site. It looks like it's been written by a 10 year old. Only that might be an insult to 10 year olds everywhere...

"2001-06-12

I had a dream last night that I was making out with Jesus. As in the son of God.
I don't quite know what to make of this."

Sounds like someone who doesn't really know what they are about. Let alone give them the right to criticise your religion.

*grin* She's just jealous because your journal is 100 times better than hers.

I didn't even read that much of her journal, Lilu! Hahaha! That's hilarious. Actually, I think I'm going to visit there again and have a laugh. :)

Instead of deleting the entry, I went and added my own comment at the end of it. I'd rather embarass silly people than delete their comments, which often speak for themselves. :)

Thanks for your support!!

Ialso read her diary, what a mixed up little individual!! And yes
I signed her guestbook also! with this!!

I really think you should know what and who you are talking to before you enjoy yourself at the expense of others!! As a great granddaughter of a burned witch I find you ignorance extreme, and a waste of air and time. I feel you should stick with what you know, which is basically nothing go back to your little diary and boring whining life so you can feel smart, making fun of others. Because when you step into a world you know nothing about WHO will protect you!! I would not be so disrespectful of my family because we are not the type to place private issues on public display. Your comment of the burning times was something you obviously have no clue about or you would have kept that comment to yourself. Have a REAL NICE DAY!!

Umm... don'tcha think she probably WAS acting her age? And probably acting her family's rhetoric& clergyman's dogma, as well.

How unfortunate.

Ya know, I used to know a motorcycle gang that'd go there & change her opinion... but they're probably either all in prison or dead by now... :D

i read through her entries for this year and i'm not sure what to say other than her room mates have my sympathy.

we all have our "down days" but we don't make a career of it as "laurie" seems to be doing

it also shows her shoe size like age when she says that she was going to let a FRIEND pierce her private region on her bed!!! That is just so ignorant!!! I couldn't bare to look around that site....*sigh* She's obviously just a person who is not educated in what she is talking about and THINKS she knows it all!! Here we go again into the hollywood stereotypes of Witches!!! *sigh* intolerance like this is so frustrating!!!

I know that in order for a teenager to be in wicca that
they must be 18 years of age or have "written" permission from their parents if they aren't. I know that "*********" in Alliance, AL has recruited at least two teenagers who are under 18 years of age without their parents permission. I don't know how you handle this situation, but I hope that you can prevent this from
becoming a legal problem for your organization/group of whatever it is that you are. Please pay prompt attention to this matter.

Thank you.

LMAO! People are how people are, I guess.

Well gee, that sounds an awful lot like someone we know eh, Dria? But instead of trying to re-open the Salem Inquisition, she's actually promoting her own style of Witchcraft, including stealing pages by the score...check this out...this is what some "child" decided to pull, thinking she was going to get away from it:

http://communities.msn.com/WitchcraftTalk

if you check out Dria's and my site (available in my profile), you will notice that probably more than half of her pages are simply copied and pasted from mine...growl....makes me mad, but I'm not going to take it out on you all...you're the good guys!!

for the last, thanks rae, as for the "creator" of that site, do you think she can spell "plagarize"?

Maybe I'm weird or something.... but I read some of this girl, Laurie's, journal.... and I really enjoyed it. She seemed to me to be a really ordinary person, good personality, good sense of humor, maybe a little mouthy, kinda brazen. She seemed to be the kind of person that I would get along with really well....

I didn't see anything wrong with the entries....some of them are a little weird, and she does somethings (or SAYS she does them), that are really wacked out.... but there's nothing wrong with that....

I'm I weird?

Well, I only read a few entries...she's....quite honestly a lot like everyone I used to hang out with. But, I never liked them anyway.
She just annoyed me because she thought she was cool for a second. lol

You're welcome sweetie, and as for her spelling ability...I have actually spoken to this girl (yes, it is a girl...she's only 16!!) and no, she cannot spell plagarize! BTW, is that how it's spelled??? :p ;)

Awww, ain't you guys the best? :) Thanks for stickin' up for me.

I did receive a little email reply from Laurie B. regarding my post in her guestbook. My post reads:

"Hey deafmute! Just wanted to say thanks for signing my guestbook. Your positive and uplifting message really brightened my day! Aren't you just the sweetest?! ;) (heheh) I like your diary. Keep it up"
She emailed back saying "No problem, any time"

At least she's gracious. ;) :p
