:RuNew:Hello everyone, I am new to this sort of thing and had no idea that places like this existed. I am interested in hearing any responses and any helpful things that other members can tell me on how to get around and how this sort of thing works. I look forward to kind and thoughtful replies. Until then.... BLESSED BE!
Always a brother, Drazil

Welcome to the board. I'm sure you'll soon feel right at home here. And I'd love to join in the Oregon debate but I can't - Welsh chick here!

A lot of jobs...ummm, in a word - no.
Really open-minded...well yeah, but it sorta depends on what you want open-mindedness about! If you're a card-carrying NRA member and republican I would give you different places to look - as in FAR from me ;)
If you're a bohemian, crunchy, vegetarian pagan - well there are other places you might be comfortable. lol!

Bummer on the jobs thing... :geez: Been livin' on miracles for some time now...excuse me while I cough, :blech: <Bush sucks> :fpoke: Now I feel better. :whatgives
No I'm not a Republican...I'm more of a card-carrying feminist; but I am a newbie to a LOT of things. I feel like the ultimate misfit...walking between worlds :shift: on so many levels. It all started in 1998 and I wonder if anyone here can relate to that year being profoundly life-changing. Before that year, words like "pagan," "Tarot," "witch," "Wicca,"...would have had me scratching my head :wtf: or making a cross with my two index fingers :rotfl: Now, I'm like an ex-smoker who can't stand being around others who smoke (which by the way is also true of me) :nonono: Or, in other words, I'm not very tolerant of other's lack of "awareness." But, it's nice to come upon a forum like this. By the way, now Tarot is something I often reference as "a jewel waiting to be discovered." It's one of my :hugz: passions.
I don't know about bohemian or crunchy, hee, hee...but, I was a vegan for a couple of years...now, I'm an "almost vegetarian." What's coming to me is that our problems lie in all the different extremes we all go to...it throws us/the world into an imbalanced state...brings about perversion and "evil." All in the name of suppressing who and what we truly are, suppressing and denying our emotions, desires...we aren't to be a :lilangel: or a :smoke: We're both, which sounds bad, but only because these are extremes that we created...and it's only the denial and suppression of each of those, that causes us all problems. See, I've learned a little dab in a just a few years :bigblue: :uhhuhuh:
So, where are these other places :huddle: that I might be comfortable? I had originally considered moving to Eugene, but the "Universe" indicated that Ashland was the place at that point...but, not sure how long I'm to stay here...I've been "getting" for a while that I might be moving. I feel drawn to Mt. Shasta :smoochypo, but not sure that's the place either. I like Ashland, but the first thing I was disappointed about was all the traffic :goodgrief in this little town...geez, I moved here from a metro area and this is like the big city crammed into a little town... Anyway, just trying to take it one day at a time :adidas:, knowing I'll be shown the way...gotta be soon though...:help: :wah: :eyebrow:
:broomride These things are so much fun (newbie to these too.) :flowers: Can ya' tell? :rotfl:
