Is this just me?

Does anyone else keep a catalogue of the crystals and stones they have? I do it with my herbs and oils too - does anyone else, or am I just strange?

I haven't really got anything to keep a catalogue of yet since I'm just starting out, but I think it's a great idea.It sounds like an excellent way to keep organized! :fpraiseyo

I should. I'm really horrible at keeping track of things. My oils and incense aren't labeled. I don't know what color candles I have and what I need. And I have no idea what half my stones are.

I don't think it's weird at all. It's actually a good thing to do. Other wise you have choas like I do and just hope that the stone you use is the one you think it is.

Not weird...just organized. Need to do it myself...finally have enough now that I can catalog the candles, incense and crystals/stones!

I need to keep a hard copy BOS, and I think this would be a section of it. I only have a computer-generated one now. I think that will be my mission from now until the end of the calendar year.

Haha, I didn't realise I was starting something! I'm not organised in any other way, just with my supplies. I have to keep a record of my stones because I have so many and I forget which is which!
And I like doing it, weirdly enough - glad I inspired some of you though!

I keep a sort of "map" of my stones right here. (http://www.dragon-wing.org/images/stones/stones.jpg) I also keep descriptions of each of them on little cards right next to them.

I seriously have to update it though - I got a lot of new stones over the summer that I haven't listed yet!

I like the map idea. I have a lot of small stones I might try this with.

I can't even keep up with how many animals we have!! Sounds like a great idea though for those who are discliplined enough to do it!
