Hi Disco,

I am going to do a simple reading for you, as I don't have much time.

I drew the Emperor. This is a card of Authority, Being in control, a father type figure. This card could indicate that you are in control, or you need to get control of the situation.

I sense a willingness to listen to others and sort of moderate things. I also feel that your peers look up to you, there's a respect there. A casual approach may suit you the best. Your patience may be tried at times but this you will just take in stride.

Okay....that's all I'm getting. I hope it helped. Let me know if I'm off as I just don't feel like I'm in the proper mind-set for a reading.

;)

Have a good weekend. :D

A possibilty of the meaning of "looking up to you" could be interpreted as simple respect. That is respect for your opinion, your thoughts and your actions. I don't think they want to be like you but, rather, appreciate who and what you are.

Hope that makes sence. In the future, you may want to use this card "The Emperor" as your significator - if it applies.

I will be interested to see Silvers' reading.

Blessings,

Hiya again disco and Thanks RnR :)

I got the Eight of Cups for you.
This is a tough card for me because I dont like it that much...it shows Persphone going down into the underworld with a bit of a worried face of her.. The sky and night is dark around and she doesnt look that happy.... She is fleeting from something.. maybe want sot be alone or maybe feels alone?

So by this and the vibe I am getting is that its been quite tough time recently ~ maybe youve been pondering about a relationship or your feelings on something as it is a cup card?
Dont loose faith it will all work out int he end ~ and try not to feel alone, we all go through tough times ~ remember the wheel ~ It does spin round again... So Im sure what ever is troubling you will all turn out right in the end.
Keep your chin up and smile (shh its contagious!) :D

Hope that was ok... & Take care :sunny:

See Disco.....

I told you I didn't feel like I was in the proper frame of mind when I did your reading.....I felt very confused....and NOW with a little feedback from you, I know why this card was drawn. ...well, at least it's clearer now....

Like I said the Emperor is a Father figure. ....and when I was looking at the card (Robin Wood cards) I was drawn to the the two birds (Raven's I think) That are sitting on his shoulder with their beaks raised looking up to his crown. I didn't know the significance of this. But I feel that these birds represented you father's guides. .....or do you have siblings? How many? The birds could represent that you are searching....and the crown is your guide. (if you can follow that)

As for your other question.....I cut the cards while thinking of you and your question.....and I drew the Tower. Now, this could just represent that your world has recently fallen apart, obviously. And through this, you may gain insight and need to rebuild, and pick up the pieces. Start building your world again, it will be hard to do, and you'll need to be strong. ....OH! I just drew the Strength card. This is a card of strength and compassion. I think you should say something.....That person may end up being your greatest source of strength.

I hope this helps. ...and my deepest, sincerest sympathy to you and yours.

~Dagda

Disco, Im so sorry to hear about your father. Dont loose faith, he still loves you and like the Ravens he is watching and guiding you.

I totally agree with Dagda and feel that you should try and open up and talk to this person...it may open up new doors.

You do have the strength inside you, its great you said and feel you will pick up the pieces and rebuild ~ It will take time to heal but you will heal.

Thank you for letting me read with you, and sharing with us all

Even the cards cannot tell how another will react. The cards offer a general outline that serves as a focal point for the Seeker. I really wish it could be as easy as looking to the cards for the answers but, the true, and only true, answer lays within your heart.

Many have to suffer loss, however, should you not ask, you may never know - search your heart, the answer is within.

I totally agree!!! The cards cant really tell you how they would react ~ the only way to find that out is to jump in, and talk to them about it & ofcourse they wont think your stupid.

Disco, Im sorry I cant help you any more ~ look within to find the answers ~ thats where your power lies :sunny:

Well, if it is Disco you wish to sing, I would say no without the cards :D - disco died with my polyester leisure suite. Yes, I'm that old and had four of them in the 70's.

Otherwise, I have drawn two cards; one to answer the question and another as a clarifier.

The first was Death - major 13. This is a good indication that you have the potential but, there is something requiring change. Whatever you are doing to enhance your career as a singer, take a step back and look at it - really hard. The change may be subtle, and hard to see, but is needed.

The clarifier: Four of Shields (Pentacles): High expectation and despair are revealed in the card. A King sits behind a table with his left arm raised (obvious triumph). Before him is a peasant woman sitting with her head resting in her right hand as she leans on the same table (despair). This indicates to me that your success may be based on the right agent rather then your talent alone, Approach with caution. If offered a contract, read it! Then hire an attorney to interpret it. Then read it again with the interpretations.

Success, I feel, is within reach. Change, caution and despair, however, will play a large roll.

Blessing,
RnR

Your questions are not bothersome at all. And the dispare is a temporary thing I'm sure. Caution make good sense, theses record companies know how to mees up people with contracts so, caution is wise. Sorry, I don't know if you were the peasant or the king but, it doesn't really matter.

As for the rest of the questions, I will try a complete Celtic Cross reading. Bare with me, this one takes a little time.

I won't use The Emperor as the significator, though. I hope you don't mind. The Cross should start randomly a would chaos. Don't look into that word with to much conviction, the universe is chaos but good things come of it.

I will get back when I have finished.

As I was preparing to shuffle the deck a card feel to the floor. I chose this as your significator. The Moon, (Morgan LE Fay) is portrayed. From this, I see something that could represent a time frame – perhaps the next full Moon or a period when it is Waning. Late Fall or Winter is clearly displayed. Hon, I think you may need some time to your self - just a thought.

The second card represents, in general, the matter at hand. The Hierophant! I immediately see two applicable things here; one relating to your father (I am sorry to hear of your loss, it is not easy and I will pray for his safe return), the other to your music. Taliesin sits and is approached by three children. I see envy and remorse at the same time. I get the feeling that your Father was musical or had a talent that you really loved about him. Something that you wish to pursue or, even finish for him.

The third card is considered the “blocking” card of the cross. I drew the Page of Shields. This card features very little art to speak of. However, there is a very predominant image of a Badger in the middle. This is a creature that is fairly passive during the day but is quite aggressive by night. Has your fathers passing caused turmoil in the family? There could be a tension between siblings. I sense a “ I love you more” issue here. Again:, caution applies. What ever your goal this negativity could manifest into some thing that can (and wants to) hold you back – even if it is within yourself.

Fourth: Realized potential. The Empress. Interesting as she seems musically inclined as was the Hierophant. I sense that you are an achiever with an expectations just short of perfect. This is not a bad thing and you realize this. However, I feel that you might sell yourself short or miss opportunities simply because you feel you won’t be able to do it for one reason or another. On the other hand, you know your capabilities and strengths. You might worry a little about who might be watching. Have no fear, I think you are admired.

Fifth: This card reminds us of that which should not be overlooked; Nine of Shields. The image is that of a woman sitting in front of a fire with her back to another woman who is shedding her soul. What I get from it is a youthful person realizing that there is something that needs to be gotten rid of. A nagging habit or a longing to hold on to something that can prevent her from excelling. Perhaps there is a ghost in your closet that needs to be released. I feel that is rather difficult to let your father go. I have a feeling that happiness will embrass you once you have completely let him go. Keep the memories in you heart.

Six: Resent Past Influences (Waning):Six of Cups. You like to play. You know that work needs to be done but, it is easy to slip into a playful mode and get carried away. You realize this and can identify it. Thus, you have “put your nose to the grind stone” as of late. But you still don’t want to loose the playfulness even though you may have to, if only for a short time.

Seven (There are eleven BTW): Near or Short Term Future: Strength. Good for you! This card plays a huge roll between the Significator and the Blocking card. With time, you will overcome the powers that bind you – a short time I might add – that brings me back to the first full Moon of winter. Maybe sooner. You know what you want and you know what needs to be done. You may not realize it but, it is there. Go get it.

Eight: The psyche: Three of Shields: You are withdrawn. You seem to have isolated yourself or do so when you have a chance. You sit in a small room with light pouring through the only portal you have for escape yet you take it not. There is light within, and all around, you. Do you see it? You know that there is no room for despair and you must move on with your life. You see this with the ninth card (Queen of Shields). This is a counter balance to the eighth card. She realizes that she can no longer sit in that dank room waiting for something to happen. You can take matters into your hands. Be kind, it is easy to lash out at this point.

The ten is the most difficult. I depicts a hidden fear or secret hope. I drew the King of Swords and am having difficulties with it. When I saw it, there was a rush of different things. One thing was a possible affair. Another was the loss of someone close to you – not a death but, rather, someone or, something walking out of your life. The strongest feeling I got, however, was that someone might be a little upset and you think they are mad at you. They are not. It’s just their way of expression.

The last card is Temperance. The final outcome. Soon you will be overwhelmed by the number of new friends who receive you. You will also view family in a different light as they will offer their support without reservation. Someone with watch out or, watch over you to insure no harm come about. I see a fork in the road ahead but, you have the power to choose the one best for you.

You may not receive all that you want but, I feel, you will be satisfied with the outcome.

I welcome you feedback.

Be well, Sister. I will nap now – this was rather draining but I enjoyed.

I knew you are male and don't know how I came about saying otherwise. Perhaps the Goddess is strong within you and I had picked up on a few qualitie of the femanine side.

About affairs, they can be as simple as thoughts or desires. They do not have to be torid love affairs. For example, my ex and I had a friend that I had a secret desire for. Nothing came of it though. Like I said, that is the toughest card to read in the Celtic Cross.

The dark room, to me, indicared a level of self isolation. The usually mean a type of depresion or, perhaps, a question you have about yourself and are unable - even unwilling - to answer. That's what I saw anyway. I could be completely out in left feild for that matter.

I do hope the reading helped,

Right this is a bit of a horrible question but, Could you do a reading for me? It's not very nice using Jeremys post for my need but I thought it would be easier than starting a new one. I noticed how the Tarot showed how close it was to what was happening to him and things that might happen and I ask could you do the same for me. I am having a bad time at the moment and would love some help, maybe not as bad as what Jerr had recently but it has been at me for a while. Could you use the Tarot to help in a way? My name is Charles Haynes and my Birthdate is 15th June 1986

As am I. I think I will try a different spread. This is the Seax-Wica Spread.

Pardon me if do not go into detail on every card - these things can be a little exhausting. However, I will summarize what I have gotten from them.

I sense that you are healthy. However, there is something looming about that you do not like - perhaps an authority figure. This has given you cause to set aside project or, to not look towards future aspirations. I sense that there has been a loss in your life - someone you liked and enjoyed greatly. Do not fret as something great is abound and on your way.

You may have isolated yourself and this could be due to regret or remorse. Are you the only male amongst you siblings? I feel that this, or something like it, could be having a major effect on you.

The future does look bright though. Take that to the bank.

Oh, and don't let your religion get you down. They will understand eventually.

Well I am the only male in my house hold, my father died on my first birthday. I haven't really lost anyone dear to me in the sense of death, my mother has a new boyfriend and I see her about an hour a day. Maybe this is the thing I have lost. My mother. I don't really have any type of authority figure leaning over me, so thats a bit confusing. I don't really isolate myself, if anything I surround myself with friends. I am healthy in body and mind. Us Geminis just have to get along. Thankyou for the reading, I will try and get it all in.

I am sorry to hear about your father. I am especially sorry to hear that you spend but one hour a day with your mother.

The authority figure is rather vague. This could be a Relative, Teacher, even a God/dess.

As for isolation, anyone can surround themselve with friends and still be isolated. The isolation I read was that of the mind and heart. But I am glad you have friends. Very importent.

Blessings kind sir,

We will be doing this at my uncles in home studio. This is a rather difficult question.

I drew The Emperor. My roomie suggested somthing by "King Crimpson (sp?). I, however, disagree (nevermind that I didn't care for them).

Looking at the card tells me nothing specifically. But, I see solitude, ponderance, a locked/closed door. Yet there is flow and flame as if an idea was being thought out - or even born.

I know not of your style so , I will be as general as I can.

Classic Rock: Walk this way - Aerosmith
R and B: Good Brown Gravy - Joe Diffie
Country: One night a day - Garth Brooks
Pagan: Sunrise Ritual - David and Steve Gordon
Metal - (sorry, don't listen to it much).
Oldies - (nothing coming to me. Again, sorry).

Nothing else popping into mind.

I feel that this might give you a starting point. I know you know that none of this is set in stone.
Good luck. I, for one, do miss that studio.

What ever you do will do well.
