My Dear Great-Grandmother

Today, on Grandparents Day, none the less...I go visit my GGramma in the hospital. Find out she's got cancer in like every organ in her body. They are giving her a year...if that.

What's really bad is 6 months ago, they gave her a totally CLEAN bill of health. i don't get it. Can things like that really happen so fast, so badly?

I feel terrible about it, so does everyone else. She's upset and scared, cried with us.

But even with her pain and sickness, she took the time to ask about me and my fiancé, how is he and stuff like that.

She is so sweet and frail, I don't want her to be going through this.

I told her I'd light a candle for her, so I am on my way to do that. I just needed to get this all out.

I feel weird asking for any positive energy for her, but if anyone has any to spare, I'd be so thankful.

Even if she can't be cured (which isn't likely) I just want her to find peace and comfort.
