My name is Rowan. I have been studying Wicca since I am 15 (I'm 26 now)and decided that it is the path for me about 3 years ago. I am a Solitary Eclectic. I do not know of any other witches/Wiccan/Pagans outside of the online communities I visit. I am terribly shy and have trouble approaching new people. It's why I never got involved with a coven. That and I would rather work alone. My family doesn't even know about tihs part of life. They are very, very closeminded people and would disown me if they knew. They think it is some fom of devil worship and won't even listen to me. I've tried to open the topic with them before. My husband is the only person in my life that knows, except for the people online I choose to tell. We celebrate the family holidays like we always do, but I am always able to celebrate in my own ways, seperate from it all. My husband is very understanding and supportive.

I am currently working on a new BOS. We moved a little over a year ago. In that move, I lost my BOS and everyone of my Wicca/Witchcraft books!! <sigh> I had very many books that I cannot afford to replace now. So I'm having to put all the info together again from online resourses and from what I can remember. I know this all means something, and hopefully one day I'll know the meaing!!

That is all for now!! I hope to meet some intersting people here. I am also looking for some snailmail penpals. If anyone is intersted, please let me know.

Welcome Rowan! I'm glad you found this site. I'm sorry to hear that you lost all your books and BOS. Books can be very expensive to replace. Mystic Wicks has its own BOS under the Magic and Rituals section. If I were more technicologically inclined I would post the link, but I'm not, so I won't. You will find lots of great info all over this site. By the way, I'm am 26 as well, and my husband is one of 3 people who know my beliefs, so I know where you're coming from.
