Hey everyone, I need your help. I ran into a couple this morning that is trying to find a home for their 1 1/2 year old black Labrador Retriever. She has all shots and if fixed. She is a very sweet puppy and needs a home. Otherwise, the couple may have to have her destroyed.

The couple is willing to pay for costs (within reason) to get her to you.

Please, like I said, she is a wonderful pooch that needs a home.
:) :) :) :) :)

I forwarded this page to my mom....we had our dog put to sleep recently and I'm hoping she might want to help save this puppy's life and get a new friend in the process!! (my parents are divorced and she lives alone) If you could let me know more info about this (like where this couple lives and how they might want to go about doing this....I don't know how...or if it's possible considering we're in Ohio....) I'm not even sure if she'll want to (she's hesitating about a new pet cuz she just got a new job) but I"m hoping she'll be interested...Elaine

Email or PM me with your email address. I will forward it to them. They live in So California but, as I stated, they do not want to destroy the dog and are will to pay shipping (usually the same as a one way air fare).

Let me know. This community has a knack at pulling together when the need arises.

Thank you for your effort,

There is always another solution. Here there are several pet stores who take unwanted dogs and match them to an adoptive couple. This ensures the dog will be loved and go to a good home. Perhaps you could enquire to find out of the same goes in your area, The petstore here is called "Petcetera" and is a chain, so it may also be in the United States as well. :p

Appreciate the tip, Red.

Believe you me, this animal will NOT be Euph'ed. I will not allow it even if I have to break every rule in this apartment complex and send Kitty to stay with the ex-wife.

Nope! Not gonna happen.

My mom lives in North Hollywood and is thinking about getting a dog, as long as it gets along with cats. She's into the rescue thing, and I think she would be a great candidate as she is a commercial actress who has a lot of free time, and a nice home.
