I moved form CA to OR in November and although I expected problems I didn’t expect to find gun threats from a second grader in a backwoods school.
Some little second grader told my daughter’s friend that she hated him and was going to bring a gun to school and kill him. He mad my daughter promise she wouldn’t tell the teacher, but Goddess bless her, she tells ME everything.
I of course called the school this morning, not in a panic or even assuming it was going to come to fruition; however it was still not something that should come out of the mouth of a second grader and the principal promised to keep my daughters name out of it.
Anyway, it just made me sad that we have to deal with that from such young minds, especially today.
