For me, Pan. We've got an understanding. And he's fun to talk to.

Hekate, who taught me how to find completion through introspection.

That's tough. I have quite a few.

First and foremost, Hecate and Apollo. Our energies seem to be most in sync.

Next, Bast, even though I normally do not work outside the Greek pantheon after learning about the various ones, she's always been very comforting for me and extremely helpful.

Beyond her, Oya, the african wind goddess (or goddess of storms in some cases), has always been very patient and willing to listen and aid me through weather magick.

Mostly Apollo. I tend to be very introspective and focus on the dark aspects. Apollo has always been my light when I needed it. :)

Sekhmet, the other is Horus, but i really give Sekhmet more attention, and she gives me more attention. Horus is just there when i need cheering up. He's really good at that. Sekhmet's the one that teaches me, often not very gently. :) and she loves to be showy and make her presence known.

Athena has helped me the most. She has taught me to find my inner strength and persevere through strenuous times. Bascially, she keeps me going especially if I feel like quitting. Also, Maia has been helpful. She has taught me to be patient and to see the beauty of life.

Ares and Thanatos. They've helped me get things done in my workings. Thanatos has taught me much about death and the corruption in the world, and he has also empowered my workings.

Ares has given me the strength to survive, and he has taught me to fight, and stand strong, to resist, to keep moving. He, like Thanatos, has helped empowered my magick - whether it be for well or ill.

Don't take me wrong... I don't whip curses around or stupid crap like that. I work magick without morals, but I was taught both easy and hard ways to work it responsibly. I do whatever it takes to protect myself, others, and to stop idiots.

Number one lesson from the Gods of death and war: when you have any amount of power, it doesn't matter if it's meager or whopping - use it carefully, and use it responsibly.

Brid, she's been my teacher for many years (even before I knew it myself). She has taught me that change and transformation in all forms is a part of life and is necessary for the Wheel to keep spinning.

Bríde has also been helpful to me. I used to be VERY afraid of fire, but she is helping me move past it. :)

Frigg has been the most helpful to me, not that always knew it was her. She has been my comfort and given me the strength that i have needed to get through hard times past, and now that i am a mother she has shown me the patience and calm that is inside myselfhttp://www.mysticwicks.com/images/smilies/sunny.gif (http://www.mysticwicks.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies#)

Hi Helena!
My patron goddess is Astarte, and I know that she watches over me and protects me at all times.
Tara, Tibetan goddess of compassion, always lends a friendly ear to me, when I have a problem.
In extreme circumstances, I have invoked Nemesis: Greek goddess of retribution and vengeance, if a particular individual is making life difficult for me, or generally being bothersome.
I cannot work with Diana and Artemis for some reason, they seem to depress me and make me feel miserable. I have some welsh blood in me, but the Celtic deities have never really interested me.

Freyja, strongly appeals to me occasionally, and I really did consider making her my patron goddess.
For now, I am content with Astarte, although one day, as I change and my life circumstances alter,
I may move onto working with Freyja. I feel Freyja calling me, sometimes the call is very strong.
Astarte does not like my prayers to other goddesses, so if I chose to work with Freyja, I would have to give up Astarte.

Well, there you are anyway..............................

My single God, the Heavenly Father, Creator-Lord of the universe, the All-Wise, the All-Loving Spirit of Light. :heartthro He has been with me in every trial and tribulation, and has released me from the sorrow of death through His promise of eternal life.
