could i get a little extra energy for this? Just yesterday, I had a REALLY STUPID accident and broke a tooth (though it was already cracked)
I have always been totally terrified of the Dentist (i have no idea why....)

I can't seem to relax. My mind is racing about all the terrible things that might happen.......and.... i'm unfortunate enough to have a VERY nervous stomach.

Nothing...and i mean NOTHING scares me like this.
give me a hand?
thanks

Oh dear I know exactly what you mean!

Sending energy to get you to the dentist (and out again) in one piece... I have a huge cavity at the back but I just couldn't face it til I read your post... Let's do it together... Deep breaths... I'll call my dentist on my way home.

Good luck!

to be honest.... i think that if it wasn't a front tooth.... i wouldn't even THINK of going.....
i'm all trembly..... :eyebro:

I wish I knew where this fear comes from..... i KNOW i'm being silly.... but, dang it.... **shudder**

i think of it and i want to cry and hide... this is NOT
proper behaviour for a fairly rational, kinda mature... sort of grown-up person! **foot stomping and subdued temper tantrum**

I'll go if you do. I only hope... that no matter what they might want to do to this tooth... that they do NOT want to pull it.

maybe they can just shove a cap over it or something and send me on my way...?

**sigh**

I feel the same way about the dentist. I'm sending some energy for both of you to be calm and strong. And it's much better to go and get it over with than to live in dread.

thank you all for the energies... I got through the initial appointment with flying colours!!!

I still have a way to go.... I was told yesterday by the Dentist that if it was his mouth he'd
"have them all yanked and dentures fitted"

After hearing all the options, the prices (and saddly at this time i have to let that be a help in deciding what to do), and concidering every other little detail, I had to agree with the Dentist.

I'm going to have oral surgery, have my teeth removed.... and be fitted.

Make sure your kids are brushing the correct way! make sure they're flossing correctly EVERY night and after any meal where ANYTHING could get stuck in their teeth.

I grew up in the '70's and '80's. I guess they didn't know how to do any of this right. I also had a stepfather who concidered anything like this (regualr check ups) a nuscence and un-necissary. That if you were sick.... or hurt... you were weak.

My mom had grown up having the same thing pounded into her....if you're sick, if you're hurt, if you're wanting regular check ups and the like then you're a hypochondriac.... weak.... a waste of money... if it doen't hurt or stop you from doing what you need to do... it's not a problem.
Don't believe this.
Sorry......i didn't mean to go on. I inherited "soft" teeth. No one took me for cleanings and check ups.... and i had no idea that I was brushing wrong.

gads... i know... a lot of my babbling is fear. I know it'll be ok... i'll be ok.... *sigh*
Thanks for the energies! thanks for "listening!"
Love to all of you!!! it's no wonder i tell people "you'll love MysticWicks... the people there are so great"
Thanks!!
