hallo. my friend, a loving father, has a problem which i would like to help him solve. he and his ex have joint custody of their son, however she has snatched the boy and taken him out of province, in violation of a court order. the police told him they can do nothing as she is in violation of a court order, not a criminal order. family court tells him that his lawyer never bothered to file the order anyway, so there is nothing that can be done. his lawyer tells him "bring me $2000 and i'll see what i can do." of course he does not have that kind of money. so he is stuck without access to his son and no legal recourse. (plus, because he is a man, regardless of the fact that they have joint custody, the view of the court is that "the woman is always right" so as long as the child is with his mother, the court turns a blind eye)
i would like to prepare a ritual that my friend could perform, with the intent being to obtain justice for his son and himself, "an' it harm none."
i was wondering whether anyone on here might be willing to collaborate with me to help me write this ritual.
???
blessings to all, in whatever path you walk

When it comes to justice work please step carefully. Be aware that calling for justice may bring it upon yourself, and it may not get the results you intended. It would, however, be what you asked for.
My focus would be justice for the child though...and you have no way of knowing if it is better for him to be with her, him or if they should be back together!
I would stay out of it. Too much potential for trouble.

First & foremost: New lawyer... one that specializes in family law, & takes payments... they're out there...
Second: Bindrune of a Gebo rune & four Tiwaz runes... draw the Gebo (looks like an "X"), then make upside-down "V" shaped arrowheads on the end of each leg... Tiwaz is the rune of justice, Gebo brings balance & compromise...

From what province and to what province??? Laws are different in all of them... and if his lawyer didn't file the motion and is at fault, then the last thing he should be doing is bringing him more money, he should be laying a complaint against the jerk with the law society....

from ontario to saskatchewan...yes i know the laws are different. he had an order saying that she could not remove the child from ontario. but of course, the lawyer didn't even file the order, so...the point is moot. although i'm sure that if parents have joint custody, she has to allow him access, regardless of where they're living? she would at least be in violation of the custody rules?
i have told him to be calm and not do anything precipitous. and of course i advised him to fire his lawyer!! but he still has to find a new one and of course they're going to want a retainer. *sigh*
i'm thinking i might appeal to the goddess Athena. isn't she the greek goddess of justice?
anyone with ideas, please pm me. i would be most appreciative.

Maat is the goddess of justice. Sekhmet is her sister and has been known to eat liars. It would be helpful to appeal to both of them.
Remember, if a person is guilty or otherwise in the wrong, magic will not help them.
