Hi all. My wife and I are about 674657821651 miles apart because the Army has sent me off to school for five months. She's in Alaska and I'm in Georgia. For the next five months she will be responsible for everything; she has a house to run, a teenage daughter to raise, a full time job, and she's taking full time college classes, she has to do all the cooking and cleaning, basically everything.
Now my wife is a brilliant and capable woman (my unbiased opinion) but that's a lot of stuff to handle all by yourself for nearly half a year. When I'm home we carry each other. Some days she carries me, some days I carry her. It may be us against the world, but coming up on nine years of marriage we're doing allright for ourselves. Point is, with the separation there's almost nothing practical I can do for her. Oh she gets all the love and support I can muster, but she's burning the candle at both ends. She doesn't even have time to visit these boards anymore (she is a member here. I'm not going to post her name but if you really want to know you can PM me and I'll tell you, in case you want to slip her some karma hint hint)
Anyway, my people, she needs a lot of energy. Can you help out one of your fellow MWers with their burden? Blessings.
