The I am project mass mailing is this week!

3 days until the Summer Solstice

The I Am Project is an effort to introduce Pagans to their elected officials in local, state and federal governments. The Project works like this - Pagans from across the country get a postcard that has a picture of their city, favorite local museum or other local scene and write on the back "I am a Pagan ____." The blank can be anything like Mother, Son, Veteran, Banker, Cook, Teacher, etc. Read the full details of this important project here.

Hopefully you have already gotten your postcards but if you're like me you are getting them tonight. You can mail them this week not just Solstice day. :D

Its to let our government representatives know that there are pagans in their constituents (sp?). As you may know, Bush doesn't recognize Wicca as a religion and is probably not aware of our numbers. It was started by a group in the US and I don't know if they planned on it being global but it won't hurt to send yours in to your local and national government officials.

I am reallly short on cash, but I had some card stock so I printed out my own postcards, and I am just getting ready to write them out!

Don't forget everyone! Mail those babies out!

Even if you can send only one to the shrub it will show that we are more united than they think and we will be heard. :D

I've posted the guidelines for the cards repeatedly in the Political Pagan forum. In order for this to BE a cohesive UNITED front, these guidelines must be followed. Please!

yup i have them to the letter

except that they are not from my area. They are just simple postcards but the format on the back is correct
