If you guys think about it when you are sending off energy could you remember a little for Trey and his classmates. They have spent the last three weeks with a great new teacher whoi has made a huge impact on TRey. He has come home mad at other kids for getting into trouble and not being nice to his teacher. He hasn't once gotten in trouble or had to turn his card this year and seemed to be doing so well.

When I picked him up yesterday he was crying very hard and said his teacher wasn't going to be there tomorrow. I read the letter they sent home and saw that she will be dismissed due to a "lack of enrollment" and this damn budget crisis! It makes me furious that our children are suffering because of the greed we all have. Our children are the greatest assett we have and dammitt they deserve better than budget cuts and being crammed into already full classes.

Today will be her last day and then on Friday he will be moved to another class. i am hoping that he wont take it too hard. he had a bad day yesterday filled with tearful outbursts. Poor guy. I just wonder if all the other kids are taking it so hard. Please keep them and Miss Haley in your thoughts. I know she will be a great teacher and she has a wonderful career ahead of her.

It stinks when things like this happen because of money. Wonderful teachers like Miss Haley are so hard to find. Lots of energy sent all around..

They bitch and moan about how our education is going down the crapper and then they have the nerve to do this?!?! And they wonder why education has gone out the window?!!! Why don't they throw out the teachers who just don't care?! Why throw out the ones that have made an impact.

Energies come your way Semele for Trey and his teacher.

Energy being sent...

Semele..is there anyway that you can figure out how to keep them in touch with eachother? When I was in nursery school, I became incredibly attached to one of my teachers. On "Graduation day" I bawled for the entire day..and was sad for months afterwards. I ran into her at a store with my mom some months later, ran up to her and hugged her. She inquired how I liked kindergarten, etc. I HATED my kindergarten teacher, for the most part, because she WASNT my nursery school teacher. I think that had my nursery school teacher been able to keep in touch, it might have made the transition easier... just knowing that I was as important to her, as she was to me...etc. Perhaps have Trey write her a little note once in a while, and she can respond...it will give him something to look foward to, AND perhaps smooth the transition. Keep us updated...

Budget cuts absolutely Rot. Usually, it's the youngest and brightest teachers who are cut, because they do not have tenure. So what you're left with is the older, more seasoned, and perhaps "Jaded" teachers, who are looking foward to retirement. :(

Energy coming your way, (((((Semele))))), so there's more for Trey and his classmates, and consequentially for his teacher. I hope the school will find a way to employ her after all.

It is hard enough being young and having to grow up in todays world. When a young one looses a cherished friend and teacher itis traumatic. Blessings to Trey and energies sent, that he will be able to continue on and in doing so honour his beloved and now absent teacher.
