so my son went to a party at a family members house, i didn't take him cos i'm full of cold, so anyway i dressed him in his good clothes (which happen to be designer) and send him on his way with a little present and his dad to make sure he gets there alright ;). He comes home and wont come into the lounge to see me. SO, i go and find him and hes pulling his clothes off, i take them off him to wash and look at them properly, he has lipstick all over his shirt, apparently a girl was trying to kiss him, he had mud all over his back where she had pushed him over to get him.............LOL!! The good news is tho, he didn't like the girl pushing him and was running away and thats why he got pushed and pulled and kissed on his shirt!! when he took his clothes off, his feet are black with dirt and his face isn't much better, including some bumps!! I think this girl savagely attacked my son to get kisses!!

I would have taken a picture but i had to get the clothes into soak asap, im just hoping it comes out, he is in the bath soaking right now! LOL

Hate to say it, but if this had taken place in a SCHOOL setting, the little girl would be disciplined for sexual harassment or assault.

If your son were the one trying to kiss an unwilling girl, would it still be as cute to you? Why should he (or any other child) have to submit to kisses if they don't want to? I think a talk with the little girl's mother is in order. She needs to learn that you can't force people that way.

no actually i didn't think it was cute in the first place and i was a bit mad about it, but i also can see the 'cute' side to it..............my son is a fussy lil thing and gets mighty irritated with things like this which probably made the situation worse. Like i said in my origianal post, i wasn't there, i dont know the exact facts and wether it was a 'game' or not!!

But i do agree if the situation is as it sounds, then her mother needs to be talked to, as it stands i have no clue who her mother is and doubt my son will have contact with her again, im sure she'll learn sooner or later!

Whoa, now. That kind of thing goes on a lot with the little kids. Don't exactly foster that behavior, per se, but you'll remember these innocent days fondly, I would imagine. In all honesty, he's probably playing hard to get. :smoke:

Yes, it goes on a lot with the little kids... and those same little kids are being suspended for sexual harassment in school. Zero tolerance policies at their finest.

The fact remains... it's never too soon to teach a child that his body is his OWN, and that nobody has a right to touch him in a way he's not comfortable with. So what if she's a four year old little girl trying to kiss him? He shouldn't have to submit to it if he doesn't want to!

i can understand the whole body is yours bit because i was taught that as well when i was younger. Sounds like he had a good rumble by the way you explained it! just a question did he tell anyone at the party that he didn't like what the girl was doiing to him and if he did then obviously nothing was done.

When I was that age, kissing like that was adorable. No one thought about sexual harrassment... no one thought about law suits... no one thought about talking to the other child's mother. Heck, we played 'boy chase girl' and 'girl chase boy' in school! The teachers never did anything.

What's the world coming to when this isn't cute anymore? :(

2 things ... Does this mean the poor lad had his name dragged through the mud and soiled?? (just teasing)

and the other - why does life ALWAYS work out that way?? The thing you figure will be nothing stays while wrecking havoc, and the concern you were most worried about, winds up being a non-issue???

I personally was wondering how old this girl was to have been wearing lipstick in the first place, but then hey I'm weird *wink*
