Miranda Green's book __The World of the Druids__ is a good overview, and Ellis' _The Druids__ is good history. __The Apple Branch__ by Alexei Kondratiev is a very good book for celtic ritual.

Another one you might enjoy is by Mara Freeman, called __Kindling the Celtic Spirit__. This book goes through the year month by month, with stories, recipes, poetry, etc. It's very good also....

Hi there,

I also recommend Celtic Heritage by Alwyn Rees & Brinley Rees, and Walking the Maze by Loren Cruden.

Happy Reading! :)

Hello Iam diane.and have been studying with the Order Of Bards,Ovates and Druids for 6 years,.Here is some books I found enjoyable, informative and readable."Druidry" by Philip shallcross,"Spirits of the Sacred Grove"(the world of a druid priestess)Emma Rstall Orr"Ritual"( A guide to LifeLove and inspiration)by Emma restall Orr.The OBOD course is an excellent blend of study and practical experience.People work at their own pace through the sections, offering going off at tangents on exciting adventures of self discovery,I have studied shamanic Healing and Healing parallel to my druid studies.Diane

Hello Diane and thank you. I have seen courses online from OBOD and was thinking about taking them , but wanted someone else's feedback about it before paying, ha ha. So, it's a good start?
