Help!

I'm currently in a real tizzey about my boyfriend. I love him dearly, but he has the tendancy to be very hot-headed. This has caused him to walk out of his job. He doesn't enjoy it there, but I don't think his dispute with his manager was cause enough for him storm out of another job.

Is there anything you could suggest to calm both him and his boss down, and let him swallow his pride a little so he may feel able to go back to work to deal with this instead of just going?

You mean besides anger management counseling? Or suggesting that he behave like an adult?

I'd have to suggest mundane solutions here, rather than magical.

looks like we're in the same boat. :chatty: i've been with my man for four years, and he's had several jobs in that time :goodgrief
when we have arguments, we keep going in circles, because it always ends with him talking about his awful childhood and his horrible dad.
and there is no way in hell that i can get him to do any sort of counseling. he just scoffs at that sort of thing.
magic is tricky tho. i for one have vowed to myself not to even attempt magic on myself, let alone on other people, until i'm absolutely sure of what i'm doing. (BTW, read the thread called *look before you cast*, i think its in this forum.) and this could take years.
but i know that eventually, i will use magic to try and help my boyfriend, sure. i just have to be careful how to go about it. i won't try a spell that "makes him more even tempered", i'd concentrate on helping him deal with his past and get over it. so, maybe you should try to get to the root of your boyfriend's hot-temperedness, before you try any magic.
