Interpretations anyone?

I'd love to get everyone's opinion on this dream...

last week... (for over a week I've slept with a bay leaf under my pillow just to see if it would do anything...heard it was supposed to induce prophetic dreams) I had this dream and all I can remember about it are impressions for the most part but in it I had the impression that I was amongst some of the Gods and Goddesses...not sure who or how many but I remember that all of a sudden from my solar plexus area and from within me there was this thing that exploded and just immediately gave me this intense energy/tingling feeling and at the same time filled my whole body with this awesomely intense bright white light and then sort of just flew out of my body in shards...pinpoints...shockwaves? of light out beyond my body...okay, even though I can feel things in my dreams that feel real I still know I'm dreaming but this was different...I felt like this was real and not a dream...the way it felt going through me felt way more real than a dream...make sense? Anyway I remember getting the impression afterward that I had been given a very special gift or something and that it was an honor of some sort...and that's all I remember. So, how certifiable am I *LOL* Seriously though I would love to hear everyone's ideas on this.

Despite your request, I will not give you my thoughts on this dream, so that they will not influence you.

Dream interpretation, in my opinion, cannot be done by any book or anyone, save for yourself when it comes to your own dreams.

What I always do is write out a list of key things within the dream. Different things would be more key to different people, even if they had the exact same dream.

For instance, if you are running through a forest at night, which would it be, night or forest? Perhaps both.

Still, I write the list out, then I write word associations for each key symbol within the dream. For night I could say:

Darkness, mystery, uncharted territory.

For forest:

Growth, stability, foundation, fragile.

You get the idea. So, my suggestion is do this for yourself, cause only your mind holds the code, if you will, for the message you are recieving (your dream).

I think Raven_Windsong is right on the money on this one. At the very least a personal face to face reading with someone who is experienced with dream interpretation should be considered IF you can't work this out for yourself. Too many things in your personal life could affect the meanings. In most things the answer is inside yourself if you can truly reach your special place.
