Hi SAHM,

I drew Justice for you.

There's a short, blond-haired woman sitting in front of two stone pillars. There's a blue sky, some birds, mountains and trees in the background. She's wearing a crimson robe with a purple cape with a green collar. The cape is fastened by a square broach with a circle inside of it. Whe's holding a shiny, silver sword in an upward position in her right hand, and gold scales in her left hand. She has two olive branches in her hair.

The first feeling I got from this card is that you need a bit of balance in your life right now. Things seem to be going well for you, but just *something* doesn't seem right. It seems you're having a hard time trying to balance your earthly, material responsiblilities and your spiritual, intuitive studies.

The other feeling I get is regarding your pagan studies. Perhaps you're finding a nice balance between the male and female aspects of the All, finally? Perhaps you were having a hard time relating to either the Lord or the Lady, and now they are both coming into focus for you... ???

Hmm... that's about all. Don't know if that's anywhere near right, just what the card is telling me. Let me know. :D

Thank you Emerald Sky! :D

Yes I think balance is needed, now that you mention it. My housework has been falling behind whle I've been working on my spiritual side.

I don't know about my pagan studies and how that relates. Maybe in the near future. I have decided I need to study the Chakras next and how to open them.

Thank you again and blessed be! :D

Hiya Sahm :)
Ive just drawn the Queen of Swords for you!
This is a very airy card ~ which stands for strong communication and a cool, calm, maybe withdrawn manner ~ but from your avatar and the vibe I get from you is different and I would say that you are the opposite of this .. or normally are? quite passionate and firey?

The card shows a stern woman sat on a throne of stone, on abarran land with snowy capped mountains behind her ~She holds a sword in her left hand and a jug of water that is tipping in the other ~ This would reflect Emeral Sky's Justice card as this card is very much like Justice (well I think so). So maybe you need to look deeper for the balance issue?

I think she is the unhappy side of you? Maybe something isnt going right and youve been keeping quite about it? Maybe you want more out of life? or out of others? If Im right you have to air your concerns and have it out with the person...
Does this make any sense?

You are the Queen ~ you have all the power!! :sunny:

SAHM is quite passionate but Michelle is very reserved and quiet and definitely withdrawn. My husband says I give off "leave me alone" vibes. Yeah I know its not great, I don't mean to, but I'm working on it. I am not like this online and I am trying to reslove the 2, I may pick my screen name as my magickal name. i find it very interesting how a name can change you a bit.

Hit the nail on the head. You can tell so much with one card! There are a couple of people I want more out of. Yes I've been keeping quiet about it. I talked to one of them last night but i know its not going anywhere, its an old thing. The other person I haven't told of my concerns and I'm not sure how/afraid to do it. I definitely want more out of life but besides spiritually I have to put the rest aside and wait.

Thank you so much Silver Venus! And may you ever blessed be! :D

Everyone else is welcome to still read for me. :)

Hiya Sahm, Thanks for the feedback, Im sorry that youve been feeling a bit trapped with everything recently ~ I dont want to stir everything up but I believe that if you want more out of life ~ you deserve and are intitled to it!!
Try to be open with these people in a nice loving manner (I get its your family?) and see what happens...sometimes you get amazing results when you open up. Set all your worries free and then you will be free like Sahm.
I think Sahm is great for your magical name (In a little voice ~ what does it mean?) Go for it :D

It means Stay At Home Mom. so it is part of my personality and I used to be like this in high school but lost it when I unfortunately decided to use the Norplant. It has thrown me into a life dealing with depression. I am much better now than I used to be or I wouldn't be here on this board.

Sorry to hear that youve not been feeling yourself.. you sound as though it all getting better though ~ stick with it ~ you deserve happiness and :sunny:
& What does Norplant mean? (sorry to be asking all these word questions )

SV~

Norplant is a form of birth control. Six small "sticks" are surgically implanted into the inside of the left arm near the bicep. This form of birth control is effective for up to 5 years, then is again surgically removed. ;) I had mine removed about 2-3 years ago. :D

No problem, happy to answer. The Norplant is the five year birth control that is placed under your skin on the underside of your arm. There was a big stink about it here in the States but mostly because doctors putting in were doing it wrong and leaving women horribly scarred. i was one of the lucky ones and only have about an inch long one with no major damage.

The biggest problem with it, that I was never told and I didn't hear much about relating to the lawsuit, is that it is just progesterone and inhibits your body from making estrogen. A doctor later told me it was stopping everything that makes me a woman. Fortunately my family and husband talked me into getting it taken out after only two years. I was never aware I was depressed or anything had changed but I did it anyway. Three months later I relized how much it affected me when I was singing to myself and relized I hadn't done that since before I got it put in. I believe the hormone stayed around in my system for at least another year but I couldn't tell you for sure. Its been six years and the last four haven been getting better and better. :D

Good for you Dagda! I hope you didn't have any bad side affects. I know my body now is eternally tied to my hormone levels. Thats one of the biggest reasons I have to get the weight off from having my baby. Being severly overwieght reduces your estrogen levels and in me at least leads to depression.

Your scar is an inch long? Mine is only about a quarter of an inch long/wide.....whatever. Then again, my family doctor is really great! (I feel that I'm one of the lucky ones to have a great fam. doc.) I don't recall any problems/side effects with my norplant.....maybe, and that's a big maybe, there was slight depression.....but after I left my husband, that all cleared up! ;) I had mine in for the full 5 years.

.....anyways.....back to tarot. Let's try to keep it "on topic" ;)

God that sounds terrible..I go all faint and totally squeemy when it comes to injections and things like that. Glad you both ok now :)

Tarot..ar yes..Tarot! ;)
Have you got a deck Sahm? If you havent, I think using the Tarot for your depression would be fun and good for you too ~ Just picking a card for a day and thinking about it when you need it can really help :) Take a look at the thread on Daily affirmations.

I drew The Universe #21.

This is a beautiful card. There is a sky clad maiden with long blonde hair dancing freely around, what appears to be, an Oracle. There are 11 stars in the sky and she appears to glow in the dark of night

I sense in the card a great amount of freedom. This could indicate that you a breaking away of something. However, the oracle holds you. On the other hand, you could be dancing joyously in an effort to embrase it.

Either way, a great wieght has been, or will be, lifted from your shoulders.

Dance freely tonight or tomorrow if you get the chance. Let it all go.

Your brother in spirit and light,

Thank you Brother!

Could this be pertaining to a prophetic dream? I have recently had a dream come true that has made me joyously happy! :D

I looked at the card again. Given the lighting and the Oracle, I suppose this could have something to do with revelation of sorts. Perhaps that of a dream. Do you see a relationship 'tween the dream and the reading? I cannot say. I should have drawn a clarifier.

Well you know, Brother, that a great wieght has been lifted from my shoulders. That also has to do with my dream. So I think that may be it.

Thank you again!
