Ooh, I'm so excited, I just ordered my new tarot deck... The Norse Tarot. Anyone have it? I've been doing a lot of research on decks, and there's like five different ones I want to get, but I figure I'll get them one at a time. ;)

Congratulations on the new deck! It's always so exciting~!

I don't have that deck. Like you there are a couple decks that I would like to get, but one at a time is the way to go! :D

Do you follow a Norse path? A very good friend of mine has been teaching me allot about Odin and all the gods at Ragnarok and he would love these cards I think!

Im waiting for my new deck to pop through my letterbox :D ...anyday now!!

Actually, I ordered the deck right from that website. I like to order right from the designer rather than say amazon.com. I just like to support the actual author rather than the big company. KWIM?

I don't really follow one pantheon yet. I was just really attracted to the cards. I also want to get his Ancient Egyptian deck. I did spend a bunch of time looking into the gods and goddesses on Mythica.com (or whatever that great website is.)

I totally know what you mean :D I dont often buy books on the net because I just love all little book shops rather that the massive commercial ones ~ I love the smell and the energy in the air ~ Knowledge!
I havent really one set pantheon yet either well when Im not workign on my own I havent :crazy: ~ but steer very strongly towards Greek with a hint of Roman ~ Apollo, Artemis, Persphone and Venus....
I love www.mythica.com too ~ Its brilliant for all the old stories/myths too isnt it!

I hope your Norse deck turns up real soon! :) Its so exciting getting a new deck isnt it!

Im still waiting for The Sacred Circle Tarot, which Dagda has got & recommened! & tells the story of the gods from a Celtic (very like Norse) prospective! Hopefully they will arrive for Monday because I am seeing a friend on Tuesday who would love a reading from these :D
