My mate and I both worked for the same company, and they have been laying off a lot of people. I got canned, and my mate just followed suit today. :(

We now have no income and the area around us has a huge amount of unemployment. We are already in the midst of looking, but it looks like we may end up without this apartment in a matter of weeks.

You must live in Oklahoma - oh, I see, it's Oregon......it's like that here, too. Hopefully you both can at least collect unemployment until you find jobs?

Thanks all of you for your energy :D It worked! We got a suprise check from our work for benefits reimbursement, and we both stand a very good chance of getting work at an AWESOME job (they will be calling people who got the job sometime this week.. Wednesday or Thursday prolly).
