Moldavite

Hey everyone!

I just bought a small moldavite crystal because I was fascinated by the description of it's powerful effects. Of course, online there are blurbs all over online about the stone, but I wanted to hear some personal stories about your experiences with this stone. Maybe I'm just cynical, maybe the description of moldavite being a "transformative" gem seems a bit grand of a reputation.
I am very interested in hearing what yall have experienced and how you use it, and if anyone has advice on how to use it "properly".

I have a moldavite pendant that my aunt gave me. It's tumbled, and so it looks like a deformed gummy bear. :D I love it, but don't wear it too often and am not the kind of sensitive type to be able to tell when it helps to change stuff...

I have a pendant with a moldavite stone on it. When I first held moldavite, I got quite a "buzz" from it. Since I'm an empath to begin with, I'm very sensitive to energy. Anyways, I noticed that some of the abilities I had beforehand were enhanced after that. I'm somewhat telepathic, clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient, and these abilities were enhanced significantly until I was able to adapt to it (which took almost two weeks). I was also having all kinds of effects of electrical equipment (mostly shorting them out). But then again, that was my experience since I'm extremely sensitive to energies to begin with.

that is amazing. maybe after you wear it for a few more months you'll be able to point at a lightpost and it will go out.! Yes!

Those effects only lasted until I was able to adapt to the frequency given off by the stone. Once I adapted to it, I didn't experience the "buzzes" or shorting out almost everything around me. But I have noticed that if I go without wearing it for a while and then decide to start wearing it again, I experience the same things as before.

Another note as far as the psychic and telepathic abilities I had prior to handling the stone...once they were enhanced, they stayed at that level.

That's too bad about the lightposts*sighs*, but it is neat to hear about the telepathy/psychic enhancements. I've been sleeping with
the moldavite and amethyst under my pillow for two weeks, and I have been getting very interesting dreams and a more acute sense of lifepath calling in my waking life. Neat!

I just got a new pentacle with a moldavite gem on it. I will let you know how it works out. All I can tell so far is a more urgent need to write poetry about change and life and seasons. I don't know. :)

I have found that Moldavite is one of the most powerful healing stones I own. I charge mine in the sun for a couple of days before going to bed with it. Plus, moldavite is a very soft stone--don't cleanse with salt water! Moldavite will also help you "hear" info from other parts of the universe. And each one has a different bit of info to share. A pretty neat stone over all.

Mom gave me a pendant with a gem-quality moldavite in it for Xmas last year (has the effect of a poor-man's emerald)...haven't worn it much (it's gold-plated, and I wear more silver in the Summer) but I will certainly focus on its energies when I *do* wear it. :)

I can defnitely feel a difference when I wear my moldavite necklace and I when I don't. Wearing it, I feel a little more... connected, like I know something but can't pinpoint what exactly it is.

I'm french. I have a moldavite vites and a Lapis in pendant for 2 months now and i feel very nice, my third eye seems to open up much more than in the past and all my chakras
seem also to open.
I have magnetic hands and the pendant is always on me.
I make dreams from my past and also from other times (perhaps reincarnation!!)
A very useful and very powerful stone.

But I've tried to use other stones with the moldavite but jsut the lapis Lazuli seems to work fine, the others such as the moon stone or the sun stone cause a bad feeling.

So have you tested some others stones with the moldavite and help me find the best for using with the moldavite??

I read that ruby can be a good stone but others stones??

I only wear moldavite when I need ongoing energy, like when I have to work on my feet all day and interact with lots of people (it's like the perky cheerleader stone for me)--my experience with moldavite is that it can be like drinking too much coffee. It gets me hoppin' and wired. But when I get home and take it off, I am absolutely exhausted and drained. So ... I only wear it if I feel like I need an extra boost.

It is believed to have been created from a meteor impact but some claim is is simply the remains of ancient glass factories. It has the same mohs scale of 5-6 and all the same properties as green glass. Obsidian (volcanic stone) falls into the category of black glass. It is no different than a lump of green glass in its chemical make-up.
