I am looking for the myth that Mary marked a tabby with the letter M by placing her hand on it when the tabby kept her warm all night in the manger, and also the myth that (it was either Mary pregnent with Jesus, or Jesus before his death) having Christ on a donkey made a cross on the donkey's back.
I am looking for written 'proof' on the internet that this exsists. Anyone able to help me? :$

First off, I found this website http://www.penmarric.ns.ca/cattails/tabbylegend.htm and this one http://home.att.net/~DLeddy/Cstories.html (and there are more, I'm sure) that tell the story of Mary and the tabby.
There are many different versions of the donkey's cross, however.
The myth I heard was that Mary, pregnant with Jesus is when the cross appeared on the donkey's back. Here's a link to that legend http://www.bconnex.net/~ubetfarm/the_legend_of_the_donkey.htm
I also found this on the web http://www.angelfire.com/tx/burros/donkey.html that says the cross was caused when the shadow of the cross that Jesus was crucified on fell on his back.
And this link http://www.fairlands.herts.sch.uk/how_the_donkey_got_its_cross.htm tells the story that the cross was caused when Jesus rode the donkey on Palm Sunday.
