does anyone know a book or website about different gods and goddess and what they do? like if you were to call a specific one in a magickal working. you know what i mean? thanx all

www.pantheon.org (Encyclopedia Mythica) is a great source for deities of all paths, and it gives background and usually tells is the God is the ruler of lightening, etc. It might help. :D

Hi and welcome!
I'm with loopy on the website, the Encyclopedia Mythica is great. You could also look for the books "The Witches' God: Lord of the Dance" and "The Witches' Goddess: Feminine principle of divinity" by Janet and Stewart Farrar. I don't have either (yet) but they're supposed to be great.

P.S. My real name is Jessi, too. I even spell it that way!
