Hi, my name is Rowan! I am a Mystic Wicks Addict. I spend hours a day, sitting in front of computer, visiting MysticWicks! I sit there so long, i usually lose feeling in my (__*__), legs and/or feet. I read as many posts as possible. I respond to those that I can, often welcoming newbies or sending out energy to those in need. I don't think there is anykind of therapy to help me. I.....must.......pull away......on my own. :sadeyes: But, alas, it is something I cannot do...unless.. :fpcsucks

I feel your pleasure. I go online for about 7 hours a day. The day before yesterday I stayed up on the computer (on MW) until about 6:30am! I just couldn't pull myself off the computer, it felt SOOO good!! Mind you, I am also an insomniac, and can never get enough sleep (that night I woke up at 11:45am). I am a night witch, for I do not roam about in the sunshine (really).

ok I have been reading your posts and looking at your PpD and damn, some of you have a serious problem... But a good one I am sure... Just curious if you spend much time on other boards and how much time O/A you spend private messaging? It would be an interesting study of MW addiction. My stuggle with MW addiction has been a long and painful journey. But I find now that I have learned so much from this place, and I am using it to confuse the hell out of my prof. turns out if you write something over thier heads they will pass you without argument so they dont sound stupid.
Oh and sense over coming my own MW addiction (I am here on a as needed basis now :lol: ) I can offer insite as to the nature of the real world. Did you know the sky was blue?!

Yes, yes..we have a serious problem....MW addiction cannot be cured with a 12 step program...counseling...or drug (well, maybe just a few - KIDDING)...it's just something that has to be fed, and nurtured...lovingly..lol. And I instant message ALOT too....usually have 3 or 4 browser windows open and 2 instant message systems going too.

My puter is near my bedroom....which has a bafroom in it...I'm always drining water, so I'm always in the bafroom. I have considered running a phone line in there, so I can just sit on the "chair" in there and never have to move. I remember the time I had to take my keybaord abpart because the keys were sticking. Man, there was all kinda stuff in there. If I remember correctly, I spilled coke on it and its why it started sticking. There were chip crumbs and pieces of popcorn and cereal. My hubby forbids me to eat or drink at the puter anymore!!! There is a girl who is a really bad swapper, but I want to help her clear her name. Mel did the same thing for me a while back. (long story I can let you know about somewhere else if you really wanna know) Anyways, this girl really wants her name cleared. But I think she might try to use me. I didn't realize it until tonight. She says she pregnant and can't afford to send swaps. Yet she keeps signing up for them everywhere. I am in one of her groups and she owes me swaps in fact. I don't know what to do. I'm only on ATS now, after dropping all the other groups because I wasn't getting along with some of their members. There were a few in perticular who I thought weren't all that great (plus they were so self centered :rolleyes: ) Blech. But I find there, too, that there are some dishonest people (like Angela --- I had a bad feeling about her since the day she joined ) :dis:

OW- we're taking echinacea and goldenseal for the colds(viral infection). What's in your garden(knowledge) to add to this? I'm on antibiotics, but because of her allergies Danu just has to live with it. As an aside, the farmers in the area are polluting daily with anhydrous ammonia and something new called no-till, plus all the regular fertilizers. Killing us slowly with love. There are no herboligists in the area(imagine that) to go to. Any ideas?

Goldenseal is great, I use it. I also give it to the dogs when they are sick, keeps the vet away......Echinacea is good too, but I tend to use it as more of a preventative, like when the flu season just gets going........ But the thing I recomend most is a big pot of Chicken Stew or Chicken Soup. That's not just an old wives tale, it works! Homemade, not canned, lots of herbs, sage, rosemary, thyme, basil, oregano, garlic and onions..... I also fix up a big pot of it when my animals get sick........Goldenseal and Chicken Soup will cure what ails ya........ Just one more thing, maybe you know it......Goldenseal can be a real stomach irritant, just be on the lookout for that........

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't checked in since Friday. Right after Igot outta here Friday, my mom called. My sister was in an accident. Her and a friends were headed to Georgia to go see her boyfriend. It was raining and the truck hydroplaned, went off the road and rolled twice. We headed to the hospital. They were both lucky and not seriously hurt. They though my sister ahd a broken arm, but it's jsut badly bruised. She's been hurting and stiff since then. But otherwise ok. Yesterday, I went to a friends bachlorette party!! WOOHOO It was fun!! I couldn't get drunk liek those fools did because I had to drive home. But it was still fun!!
