I'm looking for some tips. I just recently came into possession of a rose quartz wand and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for decorating it.

Try braiding colored ribbons around it? Tie the ribbons at one end, and spiral them around the wand, weaving them, and then tie them off at the other end. The colors should be ones that have a significant meaning to you, and/or are significant in workings you plan to do with the wand. Just a suggestion. :)

You can also purchase or make small beads, thread them onto the ribbons, and then braid them. The beads can also have significant meanings. Recently I decorated my staff with sparkly pipecleaners, each with moroccan and zen beads threaded onto the ends.
If you like it to look earthy and don't mind leather, you could get a few short thin strips of leather and tie clay, fired beads onto them, then tie the leather strings onto the wand about one inch from the spot you like to hold the wand at. It also looks nice if you tie small feathers onto the ends of them, too. I suppose it all depends on the length of the wand.

I like that idea the ribbons could look really pretty!

leather or something like that is a nice idea too. and I really like the idea of some feathers and beads too. My wand is only 5 1/2 inches so the "handle" ends up being almost half of it but it works.

Thank you both for the ideas.
