That happens to me a lot when I'm listening to music. The track on the Prince of Egypt soundtrack "When you Believe" that has a bunch of children singing in Hebrew took my breath away.

Occasionally it happens when I'm outside as well. But it's more often when I'm actually listening to the music that I'll have that "click" in the first place.

The closing theme to the movie "Congo".......touches me way down.....but yes, I've been known to chant a bit of Cherokee for no more reason than a beautiful day.......

Oh yes indeed it happens to me alot. Sometimes when I am just sitting and listening to the wind a tunes just starts to play in my mind. Something really soothing and special. Not a chant but like a musical caress.

Yes. And it ironically, that is the song for me as well. That at the entire Lord of the Rings soundtrack as well.

I love to hear music thats in other languages no matter what language or genre. In fact about 60% of the music I listen to is in another language (mostly Japanese but now I'm starting to exploring new music like Hawiian and Italian).

Yeah this happens to me. It usually when the wind is out. I have no idea what the language is, it sounds kind of african kind of native american, definatly tribal though.

I love that song (even though I can't understand the Hebrew part). Its so heartwarming to hear children sing like that. But I do wonder if that little diddy is an actual Hebrew song or if someone just made it up to go along with the movie. Either ways its awesome.

Yes! Sometimes the earth sings to me, too. Unfortunately I stay so busy that I rarely get to hear it. It only happens when I'm completely tuned in to my surroundings. And, like you said Kithling, it only happens outside. I probably haven't heard it in over a year now.

Hmmmmm, Guess I'll have to take the time to tune in more often.

It happens once in awhile for me, the song that comes to me is one with words but only the music swirls around my head.
It's pretty much the intro to the song " Bittersweet Symphony", from The Verve. But it's kind of like on auto-repeat, know what I mean?
I couldn't tell you why.

That is a good way to describe it. I never heard words, only sounds, and no one around me ever hears it. Go figure LOL For me it is ethereal and elusive. If I listen too hard, it goes away.

But it is a great feeling.

I am always moved by music in general, but it's a special treat when Mother Earth or Father Sky sing to you!
