Properties of Bloodstone...

I love this stone, but I've never had any luck with it. I recently purchased a bloodstone ring at a Ren Faire, and am amazed that I still have it a few weeks later... Is there some property in the bloodstone or some folklore associated with it that would explain why I constantly lose mine?

I have no idea - I've got two pieces of bloodstone and have never had a problem!
I've heard people say that you'll often lose a stone when you don't need its help anymore.

I think my bloodstone is the only stone I've actually managed not to lose, besides my billion catrillion agates which actually seem to multiply.

Like moonraven said Crystals seem to dissappear and move on to someone who needs them. I havn't rad of any reason why you might be losing it so maybe it's that. Do you know anyone with health problems that might benefit from its power?
