Christopher Fawkes is seeking extra help to see him through his Standard Grade exams, but he is not looking for a tutor.
As well as hitting the books, the 15-year-old Aberdeen lad will be holding a candle-lit ritual to ask for supernatural assistance.
The Harlaw Academy pupil is the founder of the Young Scottish Witches' Organisation.
And his parents, Donald and Christine, couldn't be happier to have a witch as a son.
"There are far worse things that Christopher could be spending his time doing," said his dad.
