LONDON (Reuters) - A Scottish man obsessed with vampires has been jailed for life after killing his best friend, drinking his blood and eating part of his skull, British media reported Thursday.

Allan Menzies, 22, told the High Court in Edinburgh, Scotland, he had made a pact with a female vampire from 2002 horror film "Queen of the Damned" and stabbed 21-year-old Thomas McKendrick to death in the hope of becoming immortal.

There are some sick people out there, there was a couple who were a bit twisted in the head, and were obsessed with killing & drinking other humans blood!

Everything else aside, drinking blood isn’t as “gross” as you might think. In fact, it is a very pleasuring experience for some. I am just not shocked by this man’s behavior in the least, though I despise the fact that he killed.

I actually have no problem with the vampires of this world, but that guy took it too far. If you want to drink blood, fine. But, only if the person who's blood you're taking agrees with it. As for the skull eating, what did he think he was? Half Zombie? As for blood drinking, I frankly don't see the appeal. After tasting my own (bit my tongue), it tastes like pennies. :sick: Copper tasting blood, yucky. I can't speak for anyone else of course.
