Moon and Sun... Together!

Ok, for a while now I've been running search after search... here and on other engines for the answer to this question:

What are the specific signifcances (if any) of the Sun and the Moon being in the sky at the same time?

I even read Freya's Stuck Thread on the Moon.... either i've missed it altogether or there's nother specific about it.

What are the specific signifcances (if any) of the Sun and the Moon being in the sky at the same time?
*shrug* Dunno. Can't be too special, tho, since it happens every month for about six or seven days. Just before and just after the new moon, the moon rises and sets very close to when the sun rises and sets.

On the day of the full moon the moon rises just before sunset, & sets just after sundown...

well i just thought there might be something, because the full and new moons, waxing and waning... they all happen every month. Someone asked me the question and i thought i'd see what i could find out.. thanks anyway!
