Hello, my name is kim and I found this site not too long ago. Just found the time to fill out the registration and get my avatar. Anyway, I've been on the path for almost 7 years now. However, I still consider myself to be very much a beginner. I believe in a lot of wiccan principles but mostly I do not identify myself as one.
I live in Louisville, KY where I attend the University of Louisville. My major is urban and regional planning. I will graduate in Spring of 2005. I'm also engaged and we are getting married over Labor Day weekend next year at a beachhouse in Myrtle Beach SC.
My interests as far as paganism are the wheel of the year (which I am studying in depth at this time), herbs, fae, tarot, history, and studying different types of goddesses.
My other interests include, the internet (duh), tv (angel, smallville, and trading spaces), movies (most of the time the same movies over and over (lotr, a knight's tale, shrek, etc), and hanging out with the one couple that we know that is close to our age.
The reason that I am joining this community is because I have been in a couple of groups here locally but most are not really pagan oriented (in a working, sharing ideas sense), most are just social groups which happen to have a bunch of pagans in them. I want people that I can converse with about real issues and about the things I am interested in. We hardly ever talked about pagan stuff at the pagan meetings that I went to here locally.
